The RandM Fumot Tornado 20000 is one of the most recognisable shapes in the category, and the specification behind it is why: 20ml, an 850mAh battery, dual mesh coils and a digital screen in a compact box body.

Twenty millilitres, eight hundred and fifty milliamp hours

That pairing is what separates the Tornado from the crowd at this rating. Plenty of 20,000-puff devices carry 20ml; most of them run a 600 or 700mAh cell, which means charging more often than the capacity requires.

At 850mAh the cell keeps pace with the reservoir, so the device finishes rather than being abandoned with capacity still inside.

The screen, and what it changes

The digital display shows remaining charge and remaining capacity as separate readings. On a device this size, that is the difference between knowing what to do next and guessing.

It also makes the Tornado easy to live with: no counting days, no wondering whether a weakening draw means the battery or the end of the reservoir.

The draw

Dual mesh coils keep the heating even across a long session, which is what holds the character of the vape from the first pull to the last.

The resistance is set for a mouth-to-lung draw with a little resistance to it — closer to a cigarette than to an open cloud device, and consistent between units.

What it is like to use

The Tornado body sits flat in the hand and fires on the inhale, with no button and no menu. The draw is tight enough to feel like something, loose enough not to feel like work — the setting most people settle on without thinking about it.

Between the 20ml reservoir and the 850mAh cell, the routine is simple: use it, charge it when the screen says so, and replace it when the capacity reading is nearly out.

What the screen actually changes

It removes the guesswork at the end of the device’s life. Without a readout, a weakening draw is ambiguous — battery or reservoir — and the usual response is to assume the device has failed.

In the hand the Tornado is compact for its capacity: a short rectangle rather than a tall tube, which makes it stable on a desk and easy to hold between draws. The display sits on the front face, angled well enough to read without turning the device.

The cooler fruit and mint entries sit best with a tighter mouth-to-lung draw; the dessert ones come through heavier.

Questions

Is it rechargeable?
Yes. The 850mAh battery charges over USB Type-C.

What does the screen show?
Remaining charge and remaining capacity, as separate readings.

How does it compare with the Tornado 25000?
The 25000 carries 25ml. This one carries 20ml with the same 850mAh cell, in the body most people recognise.

How long does one device last?
At a moderate pace, a few weeks. The rating assumes short test draws, so longer pulls reduce the total.
