Product Safety & Intended Use
Read this page before using a device purchased from UseeVape. It covers who the products are for, the warnings that apply, battery and charging safety, and how to report a problem.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store devices and refills locked away and dispose of them at a designated collection point. Do not open, modify or recharge a device that is damaged.
1. Intended users
Our products are consumer devices intended for adults who already use vaping products, and only for adults of the legal purchase age in their market (see the Age Policy). They are not intended for anyone below the legal purchase age, people who do not currently use vaping products, people with a diagnosed cardiovascular condition unless their doctor has confirmed it is appropriate, people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or anyone with an allergy or sensitivity to any listed ingredient or material. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, speak to a healthcare professional before using it.
2. General warnings
- Devices are not toys and are not child-resistant unless expressly labelled.
- Do not use a device that is cracked, leaking, swollen, overheating, or producing an unusual smell.
- Do not modify, drill, disassemble or rebuild a device, and do not use it for anything other than its intended purpose.
- Do not leave a device in direct sunlight, in a hot vehicle, or near a heat source, and do not expose it to water unless explicitly labelled water-resistant.
- Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you experience dizziness, nausea, palpitations, irritation or difficulty breathing.
3. Battery and charging safety
Most disposable devices contain a sealed lithium battery that cannot and must not be recharged. Rechargeable models must be charged only with the cable and adapter specified by the manufacturer.
- Never charge a device unattended or overnight, on a flammable surface, or near bedding or paper.
- Do not use a charger with visible damage or a non-certified adapter, and disconnect the charger once the device is full.
- If a device becomes hot, swells, hisses or emits smoke, stop charging immediately, move it away from anything flammable, and do not touch it with bare hands if it is overheating.
A swollen or damaged battery is a fire risk and must not go in household waste (see section 5).
4. Storage and handling
Store products in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets, and keep devices in their original packaging until first use. Do not carry an unprotected device in a pocket together with keys or coins; mechanical damage to the battery is a known cause of failure.
5. Disposal and recycling
Devices contain a lithium battery and electronic components and must not be disposed of in household waste. In the EU/EEA, return the device to a local WEEE or battery collection point; in the United Kingdom, take it to a household waste recycling centre or a shop that offers battery collection; in Australia, use a battery-recycling drop-off point; in Japan, follow the municipal rules for small rechargeable batteries and electronic waste. Where a take-back scheme is offered at checkout, please use it.
6. No medical or therapeutic claims
Our products are consumer goods. They are not medicines, medical devices, or therapeutic products, and they have not been evaluated by any medicines regulator for safety or efficacy. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no statement on this site should be read as a claim that a product is safe, risk-free, or suitable for a health purpose.
7. Reporting a safety problem
If a product overheats, leaks, swells, or injures you: stop using it immediately and isolate it where it cannot cause a fire; contact [email protected] with the order number, batch code from the packaging, and photos; keep the product and packaging until we tell you how to return or dispose of them safely; and if you have been injured, seek medical attention first and keep any treatment records. We log every safety report, trace it to the production batch, and notify the supplier and, where required, the market-surveillance authority.
