The BANG BLAZE 200K DSK069 takes the opposite route to capacity from the four-tank boxes: instead of large chambers, six small ones. Twelve millilitres each, six directions, rotated at the mouthpiece.
Six chambers of twelve
Seventy-two millilitres over six chambers is 12ml each, the smallest single chamber in this comparison and the most of them. The 200,000 rating divides to roughly 33,000 per chamber.
The trade is straightforward. Small chambers mean a direction changes more often, which is the point of six; they also mean no single direction is asked to carry a third of the device’s life.
Rotating the mouthpiece
Selection is mechanical at the top rather than a switch on the body. Each position aligns one chamber with its own coil, so there is no shared path for one direction to bleed into the next.
Six positions on a rotating collar is a more positive action than a slide, and it is harder to leave half-engaged. That suits a device meant to be switched often.
The LCD names the direction
The screen reports battery percentage and the number of the active direction. On a six-position selector that second readout is close to necessary rather than a luxury.
It is also how you keep track across a week. Six chambers used evenly is a rhythm; six used randomly is a device where half of them are nearly full at the end.
600mAh against 72ml
This is one of the tightest pairings in the comparison at about 120ml of supply per 1,000mAh. The cell is real and adequate, but it is not going to carry 72ml on one charge.
In practice that means charging every couple of days, and the LCD makes the timing easy. A 5V/1A adapter is what the cell wants; a fast charger is not an improvement.
One hundred and forty-six grams
For six chambers and 72ml, 146.4g is restrained. It is lighter than the four-tank boxes here despite carrying more chambers, because each chamber is smaller and the body can be shaped around them.
At 53 by 48mm and 126mm tall it fits an inside pocket. It is not a device that disappears, but it is not one that has to be carried in a bag either.
Who it suits
It suits anyone who wants the widest rotation without the weight of a large-chamber box, and anyone who likes a selector that clicks rather than slides.
It does not suit anyone who wants a chamber large enough to live in for weeks, or who would rather charge monthly than every few days.
