The BANG KING 250K DSK074 carries the largest number here and the smallest supply per point of it. Sixty millilitres across four chambers, and a rating that assumes you draw like the test rig.

The number and the supply behind it

Sixty millilitres against 250,000 puffs is 0.24ml per thousand, the leanest ratio in this comparison. The rating is reachable, but only on short draws taken at the pace the manufacturer measured.

That is not a criticism, it is the arithmetic of the category. Any 250K rating makes the same assumption; this one is simply honest enough that the gap is easy to see.

Four chambers of fifteen

The 60ml divides four ways at 15ml each, which is a smaller chamber than the four-tank 20ml boxes. It means a direction changes more often and no chamber is asked to last a month.

Fifteen millilitres is still a fortnight at ordinary use. The practical effect is a rotation that keeps moving rather than a device that sits on one direction for weeks.

Quad mesh, one per chamber

Each chamber has its own 1.0Ω mesh element, so a selected direction is heated by its own coil with no shared path for one to bleed into another.

A coil per chamber is the arrangement that makes four-tank devices work at all. Shared coils save cost and cost you the thing you bought the device for, which is four directions that stay four.

Six hundred and fifty milliamp hours

Against 60ml that is a load of about 92ml per 1,000mAh, in the middle of this group. The cell is adequate rather than generous, and charging settles into a routine.

A standard 5V adapter is the right charger. Charging slowly costs nothing and is the one habit that measurably extends the life of a cell in a device this long-lived.

One hundred and thirty grams

For a 250K rating, 130g is light. It is heavier than the two-chamber devices and lighter than the 180g boxes, which is roughly what four 15ml chambers and a 650mAh cell should weigh.

The advantage of lighter chambers shows up here. A device that carries 60ml in four parts can be built smaller than one carrying 100ml in four.

Where the number comes from

Divide 250,000 by four and each chamber is asked to deliver about 62,500 from 15ml. That is a leaner ask per millilitre than any other device in this comparison makes.

It is achievable on short draws and it is not achievable on long ones. Knowing which of those describes your use is the difference between a device that lasts a season and one that lasts a month.

Who it suits

It suits anyone who wants the longest stated horizon in one purchase and understands what the number assumes, and anyone who would rather rotate four times than twice.

It does not suit anyone who wants a generous supply behind the rating, or who takes long draws and will reach the end well before 250,000.

Puff counts are manufacturer ratings taken at short draws and vary with draw length and frequency.
